Disneyland for Christmas

This year for christmas our family went to Disneyland and California Adventure. We had such a wonderful time!! It rained one entire day, but that didn't slow us down...not to mention the lines were really short, lol. I will remember this family trip for a very long time. I missed Cory and the boys!! I can't wait until they get to go next year.

Emmalee and Olivia are growing up so fast!! Emmy will sprout up, and then next thing I know Liv is almost as tall as she is. I am so happy that they are so close in age...they might not like it much now, but as they get older I hope they will be very close. I love you two!!

We went over to Alicia and Matt's for Brayden and Cory's Birthday. We ate a ton of food and even had one last swim before the summer was over. Poor Uncle Cory was burnt from his Mexico trip.

Labor Day BBQ

We all decided to get together for Labor Day at Matt and Alicia's to have a swim party and BBQ. We had so much fun. We cooked hot dogs and hamburgers, YUMMY! After lunch we gave the kids ice cream with Mickey Mouse sprinkles. They were wearing the ice cream from head to toe, but they loved every minute of it, lol.

I am so glad that just about everyone made it. This is wonderful considering how large our family is...and still growing. Michelle and Ricky are about ready to have our next little boy....I can't wait!!

A Long Day

Last week was a really long week...busy to put it short. We decided to sit down and watch a movie as a family and spend some time together. We try to do this a couple of times a week but we had not been able to do this yet this week. It must of been getting late because when I looked over at the couch Emmalee and Brayden were passed out on the love seat. Their positions were so funny I couldn't help but snap some pics of them.

Yesterday the girls and I went to Matt and Alicia's to watch the Twins. Emmy and Liv were so excited to play with them....they had a blast. They are getting so big and are so talkative! It is weird to hear them rattle off sentences, lol. After a while we all chilled on the couch and watched movies, including Recker. I love spending time with them :)

Mom and Dad wanted new pictures with all of the grandkids. They were actually really good while I was snapping them. After we rounded them all up, posed & took all of the pictures we realized that Brayden was MIA! Little stinker he was outside playing and we didn't even realize it...too many to count and still adding, lol. Oh well we will get em all next time.

Emmalee's 8th B-day Morning

I cannot believe that Emmy is 8 already!!! She was so happy this morning, when I gave her the presents, that she could hardly contain herself...lol. She smiled the entire time!!

We are going to have a B-day swim party with the whole family later on this afternoon. It has been a couple of weeks since we have all been together, and I can't wait to see everyone.

The kids started back to school on Monday, woohoo!!

They were excited & I was excited for them to return. Dalton is in the 11th grade, Brayden started the 4th grade, Emmalee is in the 3rd grade and Olivia started the 1st grade....my babies are growing up so fast!! We met all of their teachers and they were all very nice, the kids seemed to really like them. I thought I would post a picture of them since I never can get them all in one area at the same time...not to mention sit still long enough for me to grab my camera, lol. TTFN

Father's Day Water Fun

On Father's Day we went shopping for a couple things for the house. We ended up coming home with a new water toy for the girls, so that they could play outside. Tommy set it up...and of course China was right in the middle helping attack the water when it came out. The girls had a blast playing in it. Cooper didn't want to have anything to do with the whole water situation, so he just watched from the sidelines, lol.

After a little while, I peeked outside the door to check on the girls and they were laying out. The funny thing is, they had cut up cucumbers and placed them on their eyes. They thought they were so cool, and I couldn't stop laughing. Of course I had to grab my camera and snap a couple of pics.

Fourth of July

I know it is already August but I wanted to share these pics from th 4th. Tommy and I took the kids over to my sister Alicia's house and spent the day swimming & BBQ-ing. Later the sky started getting gray and the clouds started to roll in. We didn't get any rain, it just rolled around us...but there was a beautiful rainbow in the distance. Schnepf Farms puts on a firework show every year so we were able to get a great view from the fron yard. We had a great time as a family, but boy were we tired on the drive home. Thanks again Alicia!!

X-Box Playoff

These are some of the pics from Monday's X-Box Playoff at my house. It lasted just about all day...but who am I to complain, it gave me scrapbook time!! And that is always a plus, lol.

My youngest dd is feeling much better now. She is still resting but she isn't throwing up anymore. I hope that she can go back to school tomorrow. That means I can get back to work as well. Have a great night!!

New Post

Well you could definitely say that I am a bad, bad blogger, lol. I have been so busy that the last thing I want to do is update my blog. Well I sat down today and did just that.

It was kind of nice to have a three day weekend. My hubby and the kids had a X-Box 360 marathon. Our neighbor boy even came over and plugged in his console, and they were playing against each other...2 tv's CRAZY!! They had a blast.

Well the weekend started off kinda yucky for my oldest, he had been sick up until yesterday. Then my youngest woke up this morning and was complaining of her head aching. Oh boy!! I gave her some Motrin and she was feeling better...that is until it wore off. So I gave her some more and she fell asleep behind me sitting on my chair. She woke up a bit later and threw up all over me and my freshly cleaned floor (did that this weekend as well). My poor baby is not feeling well to say the least.

On a good note, Saturday when my youngest kids were feeling good I decided to get them out of the house. So I rounded them up (along with my son's friend) and we went to Wuertz's Gourd Farm. The kids had a blast!! They had all kinds of animals, including miniature donkeys. They were so adorable, and two of them were very pregnant! The kids thought it was the coolest thing to feel the babies kicking inside their tummies.

3. hot or cold weather: I would rather be cold any day that hot!! I know I live in Arizona but no matter what the weather I love for my house to be cold.

My family and I started the day out early. We had my nephews birthday party at 10:30 this morning. It was a blast! We had it at my sisters house. With the pool, and the slide my mom brought, it was a fun filled day. My kids crashed out early tonight...too much fun, and not to mention the sun and the heat. My little nephew was so funny he kept saying Happy all day, because it was his Happy Birthday! I took a ton of pics that I will share below but first an announcement.

New Ct Call & Some Pics

Well things are going great with my niece and nephew. My kids have been a great help with them also. They follow them around everywhere wanting to be read to, or just wanting to play.

My oldest dd Emmalee has swimmers ear. We have been doing a little bit of swimming the past 3 days and she also just came back from Mexico with her Nana and Papa. She has just recently became comfortable with jumping and doing summersaults under the water. I know it contributed to this. It was so painful last night that I had to take her home from my son's baseball game because it brought her to tears. I felt so bad for her because I have a history of ear infections myself. She is doing a bit better but I am afraid we might have to go to the doctor if I can't find a remedy.

Busy Week & New Layouts

First off, I hope that everyone's week and weekend were great. Mine was a bit busy this week, but nothing I couldn't handle, LOL. I was able to accomplish quite a bit so that is a plus. And I was able to take more pics of my kids at their baseball games.

I am going to be a bit more busy this coming week. I am going to be sitting my twin niece and nephew, and I am so looking forward to it!! It will probably only be 3 days a week for about 3 weeks. They are so cute and sweet. My kids have been driving me crazy wanting to go to their house since I found out. They want to play with their cousins.

Update, CT Layout & My Very First Freebie!!

Sorry I have been MIA...it has been very busy in my house. Both of my boys have had baseball games and practices, housework, CT duties, and I have been busy making some new freebies.

I finished a CT Layour for Candy Cook with her Cherry Pie Kit. It inspired me to get going on a project from a couple of months ago, which I will explain below.

Ok, so anyway, a while back I purchased this cute little tin that I found in the sewing department of Wal Mart. I purchased it with the intent of using it for a recipe box, that I would decorate and fill full of yummy recipes. Yeah well it has been sitting up on a shelf for a little while, LOL!! I am sure they carry these state wide . Here is what mine looks like:

Well with the tin in mind, I started making some 5 1/2 X 4 1/2 Recipe Cards to fit. It has a recipe card, three tabbed dividers and a label. I decided to offer it as a freebie as long as you guys give me some feedback. Constructive criticism is appreciated also, LOL. But be nice this is my first freebie/design. :)

I am slowly but surely trying to get into making my own supplies and possibly having some freebies of my own on my blog. I guess I just need to jump in and get my booty going. I have already purchase certain things but for some reason they just sit there, LOL. I guess it would be easier if I had someone to ask questions to if I got stuck. Well if anyone wants to volunteer just let me know...hehe!

Well, my kids have been trying to keep themselves busy this summer. From playing video games, listening to MP3 players, coloring, swimming and playing with friends, they have been pretty occupied. These are just a couple of recent pic of my three youngest. My oldest Dalton has been very busy with his baseball. He has a game tomorrow night and I will be taking my camera. I have taken it before but something always comes up and I never get any shots.

Busy Weekend

Well it is officially Sunday and I have been very busy with a new scrap site. Scrap Digi Style had their Grand Opening. They had a huge mega kit that they were giving away. There was 5 different pieces of the kit, and to get each one you had to complete a couple of tasks. It was pretty fun and it gave me a chance to get a little bit of scrapping done. One of the tasks was to create a Card, a 4X6 Brag Book Page and a 12X12 Layout, using the kits you receive from the first two tasks.

They also have a great challenge forum. You get freebies for completing each challenge. The only key is that you have to purchase and use their stuff. It's not that bad considering you get something free, so check it out you might find something that you like. I participated in the Wow Them With Word Art Challenge.

Another great challenge is at Designer Digitals. They have a forum with great word art, and the best part is it is free!! You don't even have to participate in the challenge. I think there is like 3 pages in the archive of nothing but Word Art. I picked some up and I plan on participating in the most recent challenge.

05/25/07 Not to much going on!

My dh has a four day weekend so we have been doing yard work and stuff around the house. I over did it today while doing the backyard. I got heatstroke! Not fun at all!! I kept blacking out, throwing up and was so dizzy I couldn't function. But after a cold shower and about an hour nap I was ok.

I did manage to take a quick pick of my dd Emmalee. She was keeping me busy while I was sewing up some curtains.

Schools Out, YAY!!

Well today was officially my kids' last day of school...summer has begun, Yay!!! I know your probably saying why is she so happy to have a houseful of 4 kids all day and all night right? Well we have a lot planned this summer and part of it involves swimming and kids kamp.

On a downer note my heating element in my dryer has gone out. Not much fun because the laundry piles up pretty fast in a house full of 6 people. Especially since I just gutted out my 5 & 6 year old girls' room. It was a disaster!! So instead of trying to sort through all of the clothes and blankets I threw them all in one pile and decided to wash them at home, throw them into huge garbage bags and dry them at the laundry mat. So that is what the majority of my day consists of, YUCK! The way I look at it is, better now that this weekend. LOL!

Weekly Color Challenge

Yesterday I was busy with the family so I didn't get a chance to post, Sorry! But today I am back with some awesome news. I have been participating in a weekly color challenge for a while now at The Digi Shoppe.

It is hosted by Bren Boone and she is so talented. Every week she posts a color pallette that she has chosen and a freebie kit that you receive upon downloaded to the gallery. Her freebie kits are great! She has had such great response that she has actually added another designer to help her. She is know around the board as Stef.... aka: schmoopie Schmoopie Scraps. I am sure she will do a wonderful job.

First Post Ever!

Hey all! This is my very first post, on my very first blog ever. I am new to this so please be kind.

The pics below are from Mother's Day. OK, I know it was a bit ago but like I said I am new and just wanted to post these before it's too late.

We went to my sister's house this year and had a blast. She has a brand new salt water pool, it is very beautiful (I am jealous). LOL! All of our husband made dinner and might I say it was very tasty. They did a great job. On top of my parents there are five of us kids, all of us have spouses, and all of us have children.

After dinner each of us (her children and spouses) stood up and told her why she was so special to us. I am the oldest so I went first. Let me tell you, there was not a dry eye in the house. I will cherish and remember this Mother's Day for the rest of my life.
